These terms apply to our websites (lawrencealmagno.com, la4ri.com, almagno4ri.com, and votealmagno.com) and to the email and text message programs of Friends of Lawrence Almagno (“the campaign,” “we,” “us”), the campaign committee for Lawrence Almagno, candidate for Rhode Island State Representative, District 27. By using the website or joining our messaging programs, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
Text message program
What you’ll receive
Friends of Lawrence Almagno sends two kinds of text messages, each with its own opt-in:
- Campaign updates (marketing): campaign news, event invitations, volunteer opportunities, fundraising requests, policy positions, endorsements, voter outreach, and election reminders.
- Informational messages (non-marketing): voter registration help, polling locations, voting hours and deadlines, ballot tracking, answers to your questions, and updates about your involvement with the campaign.
How you join
You join by checking the text message box for either program on a form on our website and submitting your mobile number. Agreeing to receive texts is not required to contribute, volunteer, or contact the campaign.
Frequency and cost
Message frequency varies and may increase close to elections. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan.
How to stop
Reply STOP to any message at any time. You will receive one final message confirming you have been unsubscribed, and no further texts will be sent unless you sign up again. To rejoin, reply START or submit a form on our website again.

Carriers
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
We do not sell, rent, or share mobile numbers or text opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy.
If you agree to receive campaign emails, you may get campaign updates, event invitations, and donation requests. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
Contributions
Online contributions are made on a secure page run by Anedot, and Anedot’s terms apply to that transaction. By contributing, you confirm that the contribution is made from your own funds and complies with applicable law, including contribution limits and restrictions on who may contribute; the donation page lists the current requirements. Contributions to Friends of Lawrence Almagno are not tax deductible for federal income tax purposes.
Using this website
Please submit only accurate information about yourself, and do not submit anyone else’s contact information. Do not use the website to send spam, attempt to disrupt it, or access it in ways it was not designed for. Website content belongs to the campaign and may not be used in a way that suggests the campaign’s endorsement without permission.
Links to other sites
Our website links to sites we don’t control, including Anedot and social media platforms. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.
